Geology of the National Parks and Monuments is offered each semester by the Department of Geology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The course introduces geological concepts, materials, and processes in the context of the beauty of selected national parks, monuments, and seashores. Through these studies, students learn to appreciate and protect the natural heritage of our dynamic earth. | |
